Rapid Product Creation – Here Is The Blueprint!

THIRD video in this series — so if you haven’t watched the previous ones, you should do that now (you can access Video 1 here). In this video, I show you a SUPER easy “recipe” for creating high quality products and training that will resonate with everyone. I start out with some “ninja” psychology, and then show you the 5 simple steps to creating your product (what I call the Rapid Product Blueprint). I can’t believe HOW much I got into this video, even though it’s only 22 minutes long! PLEASE make sure you answer the question I ask you in the video! It’s important! . Remember, POST a COMMENT .. I need to know what your BIGGEST question or challenge is when it comes to creating and selling knowledge products. I’ll read all the comments and I’ll answer as many of the questions as I can in the next video .. so post your question or challenge below!]]>

  1. I can’t sell stuff I don’t believe in. However, I liked your 5 step RF Blueprint very much.

Also, the products I do tend to be passionate about are “fringe” products that take a lot of explaining/persuading for people to try them. They are not “regular” products that people use everyday.

  2. I really enjoyed this video and as an educator creating products the ‘questions’ asked by the different learning styles really hit home.

My biggest question is: How to I create a “buzz” pre-launch in order to ensure a more successful start.

My biggest challenge is: Narrowing down or mapping out the various “products” that are floating around in my mind. I have so many different products and the target market is not only desperate for the information, but they need quite a lot of it. Is there a method to figuring out what to launch first? (I cheated—turned my challenge into a question!)

Thank you again and PLEASE consider posting the subsequent videos faster!! I’m waiting on pins and needles!!!
    Angela

    1. Hi Angela – thanks for the comment. I’ll do my best to speed up releasing the videos, but hey, sweet magic takes time to create! 🙂 Simple answer would be to focus on the product you have the highest degree of confidence that will provide value and sell. Focus on one thing first, make it work, and then go and start adding more. Don’t try to do a bunch of things all at the same time.

  3. Hello,

Thanks for the video series. The information has been awesome. My biggest challenge is finding out how to use the technology to deliver the product to my customers. For example, how do you turn your audio file into an mp3 for customers to either download on their iPod or to run on your website?

    Thanks for the info.

    1. Hi Ann
Here is a link for a free audio converter. There are other purchase options available or you can google audio converters. This is assuming you have an audio file to convert.
If you have a Mac, Garage Band will allow you to convert to MP3 as well. I found a trick to recording non-recordable content and would share it with you if you are interested.

Here is the audio converter link:

      Hope this helps.

  4. Hi Greg,
    Great video as always.
I think the main challenge that prevents most people from making information products is the belief that they can do it and that what they have to say will actually sell. You are very inspiring and motivating yet what people really need is encouragement. Once they get that first sale and taste of success it will truly be a “light-bulb” moment. Actual proof is very powerful. Of course this requires personal initiative, desire, and action to get to this point. It’s not very practical for you to personally mentor each individual but maybe there is some way you could go a little deeper to make personal connections. Just a thought even though I’m not sure how this would work.
    Thanks very much,
    David
PS – Maybe having a forum where people sign-up to encourage and hold each other accountable for their progress. You could act as sort of a collective mentor to encourage and give advice.
PSS – Another reason I feel people don’t act is the fear of looking bad or really I guess it’s “public rejection” if the product doesn’t sell or worse receives negative comments.

    1. Thanks for the feedback David – it’s obvious to me a LOT of people are looking for help and support on this topic, which is awesome. I’m trying to figure out what to do with that right now. I think this strategy represents hope for a lot of people that they can actually go out and make some money, and start doing it quickly. So we’re talking about some ideas of how we might be able to offer something that goes really deep and provides that level of support you’re talking about. I appreciate the input!

  5. Hello Greg, definitely every time you post a video or an article at The Engaged Entrepreneur blog, you really add value to your audience by providing ideas or techniques easy to implement/follow.

Thabk you very much for providing such valuable assistance

    God bless You!

  6. Very Good content and value.

How can I best determine if enough people will be interest in this product?

How can I determine what results and benefits they are looking for?

How does this fit with the idea – Do what you love and the money will follow?

How can I best get search engines to find my information/site?

  7. My biggest challenge is coming up with content. My product is designed to be simple, so it is difficult to come up with enough material to give value for a price. I could give it away to establish credibility. I wonder if there is a way to monetize taking others’ knowledge and creating the products for them??
    thanks as always!

    1. Hi Gord – one twist on what you’ve said is interviewing a number of authorities in your market (that don’t know how to market) and then put together a training program on the “best of the X industry”. The best ideas and strategies from the most successful people in that market. They get more exposure and edification, and you get content from others you can actually make money from. So – yes! There are lots of ways and that’s a great one. Check out Darius’ interview in TAF Module 9 for an example of how he did it (and generated a STRONG six figure income stream from it).

    2. Also, remember your content is “simple” for YOU .. but probably NOT for a lot of your prospects! If you haven’t read “Made To Stick” yet (Chiip & Heath Smith), read it. Or google “Curse of Knowledge” (an idea in that book) and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

  8. I have the information for the product, but do not have a website or blog. I don’t know where to start. My computer knowlege is lacking.

  9. My question is how. Did you do this as a series of powerpoint (or pages) slides and then use kajabi or camtasia to make the video with your voiceover? And, should I focus on creating downloadable publication type ebook products or video training like this? I know what I want to communicate.

  10. Hi Greg, Am enjoying your BluePrint Series. You express the process so clearly and simply. My problem is in how to identify a product or service that I fully believe in that I can market.

  11. The biggest obstacle I face is lack of confidence and plain old fear. There is already so much information out there… will someone find it valuable enough? Also, how do I make the information simple enough, yet valuable enough. Some questions I have are, which software, website platform etc to use?
    Those are my thoughts…
    Thank you,
    Jennifer

  12. My BIGGEST question or challenge is when it comes to creating and selling knowledge products I have no experience and something seems to be stopping me from taking action

  13. Hi Greg,
My biggest challenge is determining what to do first. I have multiple talents and a wealth of knowledge and experience in my chosen field which I have consuming passion about. That field is alternative energy and energy conservation. For one thing, I have been a champion of LED lighting for several years, with the intention of creating an on-line store to sell them. Until recently I couldn’t find them at a price that made since. But now I have, and am in the process of placing an order from China for samples. I have spent considerable time and money studying Internet marketing. I attend many Webinars and have recently concluded that it would be in my best interest to have one or more mentors. Previously I thought I could make it alone. I have registered for the first of a series of 3 day trainings to be certified for, and do home energy efficiency evaluations. I believe my greatest shortcoming has been focusing on too many things, and failing to act on any one thing. Additionally, I have failed to stay ahead of my expenses, and currently have basically nothing to invest in moving forward.
    Thanks,
    Leonard Snyder

    1. Hi Leonard – simple answer.. focus on ONE thing first. You are too scattered. Choose something you LOVE and that you’re great at. Brainstorm what you could create in that arena. The marketing side gets a LOT easier when you have a GREAT product and you know who your customer is. Start there, and really get clear on what you can do to create a LOT of value.

  14. With the 4 different learning interests, how do you ensure you don’t loose them? For instance, for the person who wants to know “WHAT’S NEXT”, but the info product starts with the “WHY”?

    1. Hi Bruce – by delivering the content in the way I’ve explained, you can usually keep the person’s attention throughout – as long as the content is relevant to them. Obviously, the bluerprint is about showing the big picture quickly (to keep the big picture people interested) and then to show benefits and visibility to the people who want the next steps. So by including in your introduction the actual elements ..ie: In this video, I’m going to show you WHAT basketweaving is… WHY it’s the untold secret that millionaires have kept for centuries.. HOW to quickly begin creating income using my 3 step formula.. and I’ll even show you exactly how to get started today .. in less than 20 minutes.” You can see I’ve hit all 4 areas, just in the opening slide, and I’ve given them ALL a reason to pay attention.

  15. Greg,

My single biggest challenge is driving traffic to my website for little or no money. I also have little time to work on it.

    Thanks!

    Wendy

  16. Great info!! I really love everything your show on your videos.
I am already giving live courses and I’m ready to go to the internet my biggest challenge it how to transform my courses into a downloadable version so as to sell them on my website.
Looking forward to your next video.

  17. Great video and content as usual.

What tools do we need other than our intellect and experience?. Give a shopping list and budget for start ups. Thanks for your response. Great video as usual

  18. Hi Greg,

Great information! My mind is hung up during product creation step. I understand how to deliver the product, but I’m not sure how to identify or define a product that can be sold. Are there techniques to help identify my ideas or someone else’s ideas and then apply a process to accumulate this information and determine if there is a demand before putting it through the 5 step blueprint process?

Let me know if I am approaching this incorrectly.

    Thank you,

    Ed

    1. Ed, you’re actually watching ME do this RIGHT NOW. Given the crazy interest and demand for this content that I’ve been sharing, I’m now trying to determine whether there’s a market for me to create a complete, full-blown product for product creation. Truth is, I’ve already realized there is. Now the question is, what would I have to create and deliver to actually sell the program and really deliver the value people want (in other words, what are the problems that I would have to solve). And THIS PAGE you’re on right now is the ANSWER to that question! So I’ve asked, what’s your biggest challenge or question. And with all the feedback I get, I NOW KNOW what my target market is struggling with .. so if I can create a product that ANSWERS those issues and questions, hey – I probably got me a winner, huh? 🙂 So you do EXACTLY what I’m doing right now. I mean can I get any more transparent than what I’m doing right now? That’s why I love this business. I get to be authentic, real, honest and help a ton of people. Great life!

  19. Dear Greg,

I have no special comment but just wanted to say that the content was very helpful. I’m in the process of creating “5 Secrets to Successful Life” 5 DVD series. It is about 5 separate DVDs about the Secret of Health, Wealth, Love, Seduction and Diet. We are currently selecting world class entrepreneurs for interview. I’m also thinking to create a separate bonus DVD about Goal Setting, Sticking and Achieving. I would be happy if you can contribute to that DVD. I think you got some simple but profound in depth knowledge about success or getting what you want. So it would be privilege to interview you…

  20. Hi Greg,

Thanks for the video tips on product creation. I have experiences and skills i would like to share with others. I know how to decorate my room in unique and unusual ways and coming from Africa and residing a Western country (England) i have many unique ideas and rare experiences i would like to share by creating some products about them. My biggest problem and fear is how do i know anyone will be interested in what i have to say being that the culture down this way is different? Also with regards to the raw interior design and decoration skills i have, it is just a passion and a hobby i embark on every now and them, and i have no formal experience on this. If i am creating a product using my raw skills to show people how to make their rooms more beautiful without spending a lot of money, will people be interested in buying stuff from someone who is just sharing his crazy ideas with no formal authority on them?

Thank you for your freebies, You are the best!

    1. There’s NO SUCH THING as “formal authority” when it comes to marketing and selling. The only formal authority really is the government and those who are “given” power over you by law or decree. NO ONE will ever annoint you with the title of authority .. you simply claim it, and then live into it.

  21. I have always had a problem wondering how to tell which people fit into which categorys and your brilliant video has just answered all of my questions. Thank you

  22. Thank you for this great video! I want to make a coaching package for parents of young children so that they can feel confident to use homeopathic remedies for minor ailments with their family. I have LOADS of info and don’t want to overwhelm – nor make it too simple and not enough! How do I make it appropriate for people? I’ve thought of making it topic based eg coughs and colds…tummy upsets…separation issues etc. I also want to make sure they go to their doctor or local professional homeopath when necessary!
    Thanks,
    Trish

  23. Great video thank you Greg
My product helps parents teach their kids about money in a fun and inspiring way. My question is do I target the content at the adults (purchaser) or the children (end user)?
Would love to hear your thoughts

    1. Hi Daniel – I’d say you want to target both. You need to talk to the parents since they’re the ones that pay the bill. But the kids have to be engaged as well. What could you create in terms of an online game or something like that which gets them excited? There is NO more compelling salesperson than a child that REALLY wants something (ask me how I know that…… his name is Cooper. 🙂 ) So you need to engage the kids so they begin to bug the parents to get it, while at the same time creating the messaging around why the parent needs to buy the book. Understanding what the biggest pains and problems are from the parent’s perspective is really the key, and then come up with ways you can engage the kids and have them enjoy themselves so they want to do it more.

  24. Thanks for the video, can you tell me how to go about getting information right out of the internet to create info products.

  25. Biggest challenge…budget restraints & technology in regards to delivery and automation of video content. In addition having a sales page template would really speed things up. Awesome content…thank you! Has Connor learned to switch hit yet; if not, what are you waiting for!?

  26. Good value. Thanks.
Huge challenge for me is staying focused and not being carried away by the other issues of life (family, wading through unfinished projects)and not moving forward with a new aspect of business, like online sales which is very exciting but that I don’t sustain the momentum for.

  27. Greg…I’m sorry I’ve been referring to your son as Connor and not Cooper. Hopefully I won’t strike out and come thru with some timely hits. I know personally what it is like to have people incorrectly spell or say your name. I do have one question…is it possible or recommended against being an “expert” in 2-3 areas vs soley focusing on one? Thank you.
    Extremely helpful video content!

    1. Hi Paul – no problem on the name, he didn’t notice! My strong suggestion is that you focus on becoming an authority (not an expert) in one market FIRST. Doing it in multiple markets is challenging. I really believe in the power of focusing your efforts. As you gain traction there, you can then begin to build out your presence/awareness in another market, and hopefully leverage some of the success in the first one into the next, and so on.

  28. Loved the video and its relevancy! My biggest question is “why would anyone seek my product over anyone else’s”?

  29. Great video as usual!! Please keep them coming!!

My question is: How do I get my product sold and how do I get people to buy the product?

    Thanks in advance,
    Shanna

  30. Hi Greg!

I don’t currently have a business so I’m not exactly sure what solutions potential clients are looking for. I have been interested in the mind and have studied it for 25 years. Knowing how to master our thoughs, emotions, actions and the energies is a passion of mine. Any thoughs you have would be appreciated.

    Thank you, Kevin

  31. Excellent content in this video! I love psychology and learning what makes people tick.

My biggest question: I have created a product (a book) that is NOT a how-to product. How do I address the HOW when my product is NOT how-to? My book chronicles more than 17 years’ experience living with invisible disabilities – particularly those things that nobody ever told me I’d have to deal with when I was first diagnosed. I don’t have all the answers, but would like to share my experiences and what I’ve learned over the years. I’m hoping that support groups and charities will find this information complimentary to the tools they already provide, and that the recipients of this information will find a certain sense acceptance/peace with their invisible disability faster than I did, and become more grounded when making decisions about their treatment options. I’d love to get your input. Thanks a bunch!

  32. Thanks for sharing your 5 steps blueprint for creating a product. The information was enlightened. I will now re-examine my website and implement changes where are needed. My question; How can I get traffic to my website that are freely available? Thank you again

  33. Thanks for the video!! Very useful.

My biggest challenge is that I feel I have never enough knowledge about my topic. Always when I write an article for my web site I have to do research because I don´t have all the information in my head. I´m trying to imagine I´m writing to those who know very little about the topic, like my neighbour, but I don´t feel comfortable anyway.

You said to Gord below that interviews could be a way to get information to products. What should I give the experts in return? I can´t imagine they will give it to me for free, just because I ask them. I would probably feel like I was stealing the content from them.

    1. A lot of authorities and experts are always interested in getting exposed to new markets. So that’s one of the benefits for them. Sometimes, if they have something to sell or offer that would suit your audience, that’s a possibility too. A common approach is that you bring them to your list, they provide value and content and then a product is sold and you get some of the sales they generate as a commission. That’s another business model. You are vastly OVERestimating how much you really need to know in order to provide value to others. Remember, the standard isn’t that you know the most about something than anyone else .. the standard is whether you can HELP and SERVE other people by sharing your knowledge.

  34. This was GREAT Greg!! Thank you for your amazing training as usual!

    My question is:
How do I connect with companies for my website, in order to sell their product for some profit.
For instance, my desire is a website for health and there are many products that I would like to promote.

Thank you for asking FOR my question! This is a question that many of us have been asking. mary

    1. Most companies that are on the ball with marketing have affiliate or marketing partner programs already set up. Remember you’re asking to help THEM sell MORE .. that’s music to their ears, so this isn’t something you have to sell them very hard on!

  35. Hi Greg – First of all – THANK YOU! I really really really appreciate how you teach and breaking down the content to make it understandable and doable!
My question is how to make the intangible tangible. I do not have a widget or gadget, but I do have a plethora of information that can help women (with past childhood abuse issues or other trauma) learn to move beyond the subconscious blocks, grow emotionally, socially, spiritually and in the their thinking process in order to move forward in life. I have done this on a volunteer basis for years and have written a 12 week support group book as well. I am formalizing a full book, currently, and would love to do workshops and webinars. What is your best advice be for me? (I am a mentor and life coach)
    Thank you again!

    1. That’s exactly what my program The Authority Formula is all about. How to take your knowledge and experience, and become the Trusted Authority in your market so that you can serve more people, make more money, and build a sustainable business. That program isn’t for sale right now so I’m not trying to sell it, but you’ve described a very typical situation a lot of our students are in, and that’s what I designed that program for. Having said that, the videos I’m sharing right now about product creation will definitely help you alot in this regard. By the way, we’re going to opening up The Authority Formula to new students next month, so watch for that.

  36. I’m curious to know how to build the business case for my product so that i know that there is indeed a market. I want to do this without having to do tons of market research.

my biggest problem is focus on the topic and information.

  37. Again You have produce a quality instructional video. Greg I am trying to market personal financial services. I like your 5 step process as well as the 4 personality styles. Any sugesstions on my product /services ?

  38. Details. I like details, such as what audio equipment and software do I need? What is the best method for video – live footage or power-point slides? How do you embed audio and video into an eBook? How do you protect products from copyright infringement? I prefer to see the whole process mapped out and then broken down into easy steps of how, where and what. Then it all seems too hard, so I don’t start.

  39. How do I put together a copy for my website? Do I need a complicated web site, or I can do just with one-page?

  40. Another great video. It’s the technical side I have a problem with such as how to set up webinars and record them also videoing seminars.

  41. Thanks Greg, for this great video. I am in the process of creating a product with the concepts.

My challenge is the traffic. A part of me that resists completion of a product resonates with many here. It is what I teach when I coach. Don’t focus on the *how*, focus on the what and the how will come to you. I am giving myself right now, the same advice!!

  42. Great info. I really appreciate the effort you have put into these videos.
The problem that stops me from creating a product is “Do I really have anything of value, or of more value than what is already out there? I have been doing research so I have gathered a lot of information, everything I know about my subject is already out there, I have nothing new to add.”
I am sure other people feel the same way.

    1. Fay, remember that the primary thing people are paying for is to get the RIGHT information, in the WAY they want it (convenient). YES, virtually all the information you could ever want is already “out there” somewhere .. the problem is, no one can find it, they don’t know who to trust, and they don’t have the TIME to spend trying to hunt it down. This isn’t about creating all new content or information, it’s about gathering and organizing it so that you’re adding a lot of value by doing it.

  43. About the four quadrants of personality types, How, Why, What, What’s Next, what percentage of people in the population fall into each quadrant?

    1. Hi Mary – I haven’t seen alot of detailed research on the actual breakdown, but from what I’ve read it seems that there isn’t one that is significantly larger or smaller than the others. The overall population tends to be about 50% towards the active, and about 50% towards the reflective ie: doing vs. watching). For feeling vs. thinking, men and women tend to be different, with about 60% of women being on the ‘feeling’ side, and 40% towards ‘thinking’. Men are the reverse – about 60% thinking, and 40% feeling.

  44. Thanks once again for clear, concise content.

Here is my thought/challenge: if, IMO, I have a product/content etc that would help and serve others and have arranged it in an add-value format, the fact is there are many others that 1.) have similar products/content and 2.) are using the exact same internet marketing template. While I understand there are no guarantees in life (!), how do I differentiate my offering to ensure a positive outcome?

  45. Hi Greg, again a value adding video…my biggest challenge is selling online and how to get visitors to my website

    thank you

  46. My biggest challenge is to summarise into simple and effective statements of what I want to do. I want to empower women to live life to the fullest in happiness, health and wealth. I am a health practitioner in Chinese Medicine,Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and Bodywork therapies.

In Happiness – a social environment for women to interact, share and learn.

In Health – health information, Tai Qi, Qi Gong exercises, holistic therapies that they can embrace and practice for the rest of their lives..

In Wealth – a vehicle with a proven system to generate an income stream.

Thank you Greg for sharing your expertise and time.

    Regards

    Jennifer

  47. thank you greg for your amazing info.
i am at a point that i need help getting my info out, i know that i am not consistent with what i do and need someone to help me on this. i wish to creat a video course on line for the spanish speaking world community, i loved your example of the raw food person, that has given me an insite, but how to create the person to help me on that if i dont have the income coming in as yet, i know i will!
    many blessings.
    beverley, mallorca, spain.

  48. Hi Greg,

I am an athletic therapist and I am developing a website with 2 partners who also work in the medical field. After watching you video, I would like to share our vast sport medicine knowledge with the public but would like to find a way to help others and profit from this. What direction can you share with me. Thank-you.

    1. I would point you to the beginning step – identifying what the biggest pains, problems and frustrations in your market .. and then building out content and materials that will help them address those concerns. It’s really as simple as that. If you go back to the first 2 videos that I released (they’re just the previous blog posts released before this one) they show you ways that you can do that.

  49. Thanks Greg again for another powerful training video. I like the simplified 5 step process and am eager to put it into action. One question I do have is how do you start selling information based products to an industry that is not familiar with this style of training or approach to it. I am an aviation consultant and in my market research one of the most common concerns I receive from perspective clients is the question of “who’s going to buy your products for $50, $200 or more”…this approach to training material is very foreign to the aviation industry. So I guess my question is how can I work to rewire their thinking into seeing the value of this approach to training and learning so that I can better work them into the sales funnel.

    1. Hi Mike – the key thing is identifying what their biggest challenges are – if you are producing information that is REALLY important to them, they will consume it. In fact, if there aren’t a bunch of competitors doing this, this will allow YOU to become the Trusted Authority much faster, because you’ll be the only one putting the information out there – at least to begin with. You don’t HAVE to sell the information either – you could use it simply to build credibility, awareness and then lead them to your products and services you offer today. But chances are there are problems, frustrations, pains and challenges they’re facing that you could solve with a good knowledge product. So the real question to ask is, what are the problems and challenges that my ideal prospects have that, IF I could solve it in a training program, would be worth a LOT more than $50, $100, or $200? Hope that helps.

  50. Amazing stuff all of the videos, and all your Tips, Thank you so much.
Something I am noticing about myself is that, as I fit mostly in the Feeling-Whats next(doing)catagory, I find that my biggest challenge is
discerning what I should do, and what I can leave to others to do.
How much should I understand of the other areas, which I believe and know are all important as well, in order to be able to have confidence in another person to help me carry out my vision….I have had businesses in the Beauty Industry(hair) and Restaurants and both areas have been burnt.

    continued;

  51. Part 2
An on-line business in Personal Developement and knowing our true beings
using my poetry in a video, music and voice format is my Niche.(I have just retired from the Film Industry after 18 years, health reasons)
I have learned so much in the last year from wonderful beings such as yourself, who have willingly shared so much of their knowledge freely, VBU
being one of the great ones. However as you can imagin I am now chomping at the bit to get it out and on line. I hope I’m making sense in my request. I would love to send you some of my poems you can let me know by
    e-mail.
    Bronwyn

    1. Hi Bronwyn – when it comes to creating an online business, it’s a good idea to understand all the basic areas yourself, but you can then outsource alot of the pieces fairly easily. That’s the great thing about running an online business – it’s not complicated, and it’s extremely easy to outsource a lot of the moving parts to other people so you’re not having to do everything yourself. So, I would say you want to get familiar with the major elements of the business – you should know what goes into creating a website, how you will get traffic to your site, how you’ll collect money, etc. – but you don’t have to DO all the work.

    1. Hi Carol – you start by getting clear on who your market is going to be, and then finding out what it is they’re really looking for – what their biggest pains, frustrations and challenges are. Once you know that, you can create a product or program that addresses that need.

    1. Hi Gina – there are a few important pieces you need to in order to have a good website that creates revenue. You need the website itself, and you normally would pay about $5-7 per month for a good hosting company that stores your website and files and makes it accessible online. Then, you’ll likely want to have an email management service that allows you to capture the emails of your audience and then be able to send them regular email messages. There are free services that do that, and then the better ones are around $20 per month. Other than that, you don’t really need to spend a lot of other money. To accept payment from people, you can use services like Paypal, Clickbank or eJunkie that allow you to take credit cards without having your own credit card merchant account. It’s a simple business!

  52. Thanks a lot, Greg.

The five steps is clear & useful. And I like the biggest secret in the end of the video you mentioned. “Start Now!”. Since most people are tend to learn these valuable information but doing nothing at last. Thanks for the reminding.

  53. Greg, very, very enlightening video! I wish I had known about your definition of people’s different learning styles (as opposed to the 3 classic ones: audio, visual, kinesthetic) earlier for my coaching materials. Thanks!

    1. Hi Nelson – it’s powerful to combine BOTH concepts and then make sure you’re catering at some point to each of the learning styles, along with the format they prefer (audio, video, hands on). That’s why in my new programs, we’re including video training, the complete audio from the videos, as well as written transcripts, along with exercises. Helps provide each group what they want in terms of whether they like to watch, listen or interact.

  54. The content in this video is very stimulating and evoked key insights on how to apply structure to my new charity website. Thankyou for sharing your knowledge. Adelaide South Australia

  55. I sell products not necessarily services. I am involved in many historical reenacting, living history, organizations as well. What kind of product could I create from that?

  56. Well Greg, you’ve done it! You have motivated me to post a comment. Thanks for the great information you have provided in the first 3 videos. Things are coming clearer for me now on how to set up an on-line business and share the valuable information I have.

I hope you don’t mind if a post a few of the challenges holding me back:
    1. You hit it, how to create a website.
    2. How to have merchant capability – ability to recieve payment quickly and easily and then automatically send the product they are purchasing
    3. How to drive traffic to the website – i.e., search engine optimization

Look forward to your next video – thanks alot for your help!

    1. Hi Kelly – creating a website is a simple process once you understand it. I’m creating a new training program called “7 Minute Site” .. because it shows you how you can actually create a website or blog in 7 minutes or less. Once you know how, it’s easy! As for credit card merchant accounts, there are lots of alternatives – ClickBank, Paypal, e-junkie.com are all simple solutions that avoid the process of setting up a merchant account at all.

  57. PART 2

I thought of another very interesting and big challenge that has been holding me back.

For years I have been learing wealth management, asset building and real estate strategies and techniques from many different teachers/ sources/ seminars etc.

I would like to share what I know but in some cases get concerned about some techniques / systems that I have learned from “ABC Guru”. How do I assess if I am infringing on their materials or information. How do I determine if I need their permission. And, if I ask them and they say NO my great idea is… crushed. Potentially.

    Any insight would be appreciated!
    Thanks

  58. Hi Greg:

Well, I’ve been late starting these videos, and have watched all three in the last day. It’s exciting! What’s harder for me is that I am a ‘maker’. I build things with my hands: glass, paintings, collages.

How do I approach this kind of marketing when all I really know is how to build ONE of something? I understand the paradigm for informational products; I’m just more of a hands-on kind of person, which has limited my income, and I am ready to change the paradigm.

It’s easy to imagine working with my husband in his shamanic counseling business and setting up webinars, following your blueprint; I find it obscure when I think of my own skills.

    Hmmm.
It’s very, very interesting. Thank you for putting these together. You’ve given me something to think about, and I appreciate it.
    -Annah

  59. Once again, Greg, you have delivered. I’m in the process of creating an online video product and my biggest challenge is the actual doing. I’m absolutely one of the Watcher/Thinker folks so having your examples has really helped a lot. Thanks so much.

  60. Thank you Greg for sharing simple yet powerful videos. My biggest challenge is how to build my email mailing list. I watched Max Simon’s videos about Affiliate Marketing, but I don’t know anyone to start my mailing list.

    Thank you.
    Karma

    1. Hi Karma – you don’t need anyone to start, that’s the secret. You simply set up the process that allows you to build an email list using a website/blog. Then, you approach a few people that ALREADY have the customers you think would be interested in your product. When they start to promote your product, the people that come to your site give you their email address and that’s how you start building it! Of course, you can also do a lot of other things like working to optimize your site so that the search engines send traffic to it, and there are dozens of other strategies. But not having a list is NOT a problem to get started.

  61. Greg,

At the beginning of video #4 you state, “Later in this video I’ll show you how you can get a professional looking website created in 7 minutes or less.” Well…I waited through the 20-min pitch for your new product — which sounds nice, but I’m not able to participate at this time — and never saw it. The only thing I saw was the pitch for the Bonus Program with the same title. But from the statement you made above I was expecting to learn how to make my own website in 7 minutes from video #4. Did the video get cut short and I missed it? I’m willing to give you the benefit of the doubt because I know how important integrity is to you, hold you in such high regard, and am very appreciative of all the information you have shared freely.

I hope you will respond to my question, but won’t be surprised if you don’t.

    1. Kimberly, with all the content and insight I’ve provided, I’m sorry that it’s not enough for you. After the amount of time and energy I’ve spent answering people’s questions and helping them, your attitude is pretty sad. I think it’s funny that you would even call my integrity into question simply because you didn’t get what you want. I’m sorry I can’t answer every question or provide everyone the solution to what they’re looking for, but I hope someone else can do that for you.

  62. Greg,

I am still struggling with the product creation. As a builder I can’t seem to come up with a product that would be saleable online. I totally get the 5 Step process and do believe it will work, I just come up blank with the “what” to make it work.

    Thank you.

  63. I think my biggest challenge is twofold; Where to sell it and where to start? for eg: How do I take my workshops and know where to divide them into webinars; how long should they be, what is considered a good value in time and price for the market? I am use to overloading them in the workshops and I love your ideas but how do I know if I am not over charging or under giving?

  64. Thank you for the information. My question is- How do I know that the market wants (will buy) what I will create?

    Thank you.

  65. great content Greg. my single biggest question would be “how do you know there is a market for the product specially if no one has done somethinh like it before?”

  66. My biggest difficulties are
    Limited time
    Staying focused

We all have the same 24 hours in a day, so am working to get organised, make better use of my time and have a focused time set aside every day for working on my website. Even if it is only 20 minutes!

  67. “BIGGEST BRIGHTEST” 🙂 THANK YOU once again, Greg, for invaluable information!
    This is absolutely “need-know-&-do”. 🙂
And what I definitely LOVE it’s you perfect articulation! Especial big Hugs for it! 🙂

Now I am really curious to get you traffic magnet worksheet – I didn’t found that in abc_com nor via G-search…bizarre? May it be non-accessible to USA-outsiders? Where then would be possible to get this worksheet, please? Tank you.

@ GINA — I would like to share my two cents about website, content and price – you don’t need to use “your” bandwidth almost at all, the img and even txt would be better to “stock” outside, and here are quite a few of choice to do it absolutely for fre²e, just be assured that “you” don’t have any problem with copyright or so on.

    Thank you.
    Thori

  68. Hi Greg,

I am currently relocating to another country and, therefore, in transition. I am considering myself as a “product”, which should bring an amazing value to my next employer. Your insights are helping very much with structuring my approach to my next employers. Your videos also applies terrifically well to internal project and/or product/service launchings.

Hence I am enjoying your videos and I am also in awe for what you are sharing with us. Thank you!

  69. Hi Greg. You mentioned on this video the challenging questions which I too want answer. How and who am I going to sell the product to? How to get the list of prospects and how to make a website?

  70. Thanks a lot for this type videos! I really want to create some products.

Well, I have few challenges, first it is english language, i understand 100%, but to write well or speak without acsent… I of course can do products in my native language (russian), but I really have not any idea how russian internet is developed and how to monetize it. Also with russian internet is problem that people still information and put it in free torrents, so how to protect products from it?

Next challenge is that I know a lot of different staff (mostly in self development), I use it for myself to create my life better, i help my friends with advice, but I stuck with choosing niche. When I think about what I can speak for hours, there no specific topic, all about insight work with yourself and this can apply to any part of life.

  71. Hey Greg, thanks a million,million million.

I live in the Caribbean and I want to target hotels and other vacation businesses that are not really making use of their website as a marketing tool. They still depend too heavily on the old model of Tour Operators who they have to pay heavily for each client, but are hesitant to give up the old paradigm. How do I start to put together a product for this kinda situation?
    Thanks for your insights.

  72. My “biggest problem” is, how do I decide on ONE product when I’ve had dozens of experiences, many passions and interest in everything else! I’ve searched most of my life for answers, (yes, I’m a “why” person), so pinpointing ‘it’, is very difficult. Being 64, and having an ‘out there’, people oriented personality along with an especially traumatic life from birth, is what gives me so many options.

I guess I’m also a ‘let’s get going’ person since I jumped to finding the answers without looking at the first two videos. Go figure!

  73. Hi Greg

I really appreciate and value your presentations, there is no one like you,the rapid product blueprint makes perfect sense,
my biggest challenge is that i dont know what product to create, ok my mind just start running wild and i end up confused, the example on video 4 was mind blowing, look i have read the million dollar multipliers ,how to become the authority , i dont want to be just any online entrepreneur i want to be the best, and believe i can be a great life/business coach and an online information marketer.

I know in South Africa today everybody want to be a business person, from doctors to lawyers, and they dont know what business to go into, there in lies a lot of opportunities, ideas that are flowing through my brain are:
1.how to start a successful business
2.the basic steps to becoming an entrepreneur
3.the tools and measures of owning your business
4.why is it important to create your business

  74. My biggest question is do I have to go online and how much does it cost to get started?
I have a computer but I don’t have any other equipment to say do a teleseminar or a webinar. And it seems I will be paying out money before I even get my product into the market. I am not an entrepenaur but I did want to always wanted to become one but I get so far and ask what is next?
I could do something to solve some people’s questions. I know that when I was a Taxi Driver I was always asked constantly by young customers, how does the taximeter runs?

Does it charges for time or distance?

You have just given me an idea that came the example in one of your videos about the realestate publishing a 7 steps to adding value to your home.

  75. Dear Greg

You asked what my single biggest challenge / problem in this regards was !
    Its hard to pinpoint ,
    but perhaps
its IDENTIFYING MY EASIEST USP AND HENCE MY PERFECT NICHE / GENRE / VALUE -DEFINITION AND THEN – HENCE MY IDEAL TARGET MARKET.

Best rgds PS— Great video. Usable info. Thanks a ton.

  76. which product/area to choose in which niche market ?
choosing mass market or subject ones passionate about ?

  77. Wondering what product medium is best to begin with. given there are multiple learning styles. Would you start with written, audio or video? Over time, I’d want to re-purpose the content into all these formats, which one gives the most “bang for the buck” in the beginning?

    1. Video is definitely the highest perceived value. Plus, it can easily be repurposed to audio and written word. Whereas, starting with audio or written it’s difficult to repurpose to video without a bunch of work to add the visuals.

  78. Well, I found vid#4, thank you. My biggest concern is my list as it seems to be pathetically small at this point. However, I suspect that any list no matter how small is a starting point and you build from there with referrals from that list.
Not quite sure at this point how you post your training and sell it w/o giving the whole world access to it for free.
Great stuff though, given me a lot to think about and I’ve made my list of ideas so I’ll be busy working them up to get started.
Thank you for all of the time you spend putting this together AND for posting so much of it for free…you are awesome!

  79. Hi,
I have been watching your super video creation and its really a powerful tools to anyone. After learning the Rapid Product Creation. There is no doubt
that you are really doing the highest kind of creating a value for your self.
And I am very thankful to this gift for free!
However, as you say simple thing is not easy because time requirement is killing everyone because of the vast negative influenced that we absorb in our mind.
The biggest problem that I encounter is confidence in shifting new ideas into action without compromising time for my financial obligation and relation to others. Its sound basic but its what I feel. Thanks

  80. truly appreciate your insights, Greg. so my single biggest concern at this point (aside from no potential client list right now) is the structure of joint partner relationships. certainly joint partners can be of huge value by connecting you to more potential clients however, it is critical to design a mutually beneficial relationship with them. what’s are the top factors to consider. for example, one is certainly alignment of products/services such that they are complimentary and also that the partner is of similar integrity and character as you. how about business agreement terms? other…
    thanks again, Greg.

  81. Greg, This is a great video. The points made summarize beautifully the content of many other “expert trainers” that they spend tons of time on yet in the process they muddy up the water. Thank you. Where is the next video, and I can’t seem to find it?

  82. Hey Greg!
I saw this explained by Eben on a interview done by Frank Kern, but your really made it clear. Thanks.

Maybe I’ll see you around Calgary

    1. Max, that’s more your mindset than anyone else’s. If you feel like that then that’s what you communicate unconsciously. In today’s world, people are inspired and supportive of younger entrepreneurs because they realize they are the future of our world. So you need to get past that story because it’s only true in your head.

  83. Leo Mattheos
It is great stuff and understood.
the biggest chalenge for me is the technical work involved to implement those steps when you produce a presentation/product..would need to outsource any of this?.When you get struggled technically this is where you stop implement and get disencourgaed.

  84. My biggest problem, according to my husband, is that I don’t promote myself enough. But perhaps my problem is I get frustrated too fast. If I don’t get a strong positive result (call backs), I just assume I wasn’t good enough and give up. I “know” its just my job to deliver the message and its up to them to receive it. But my human need to feel needed gets in the way ” if I’m not needed I just won’t play.”

  85. How do identify my market? I know that its’ a good idea to identify the market before creating the product so I know who I’m speaking to. So what is a simple way to figure out who I’m speaking to/who my market is?

This seems to be the biggest hurdle I keep coming back to. Love it if you can help.

  86. I really liked the video. I think you gave great advice on covering the basic learning languages of most people and I will use this in my new book to help people create happiness in their lives. I offer practical tools in adjusting one’s perspective and then taking the action steps necessary to unleash their potential to reach a balanced and gratifying lifestyle. Question: I would like to know the BEST methods to drive qualified traffic to my site. I am currently looking at Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as well as radio interviews and local news interviews. I have a launch date of 7/4 (INDEPENDENCE day) and would like at least 10,000 opt-in emails by then. Can you help?

    1. The fastest way to accomplish this is to get in front of groups of people that someone else is already speaking to – in other words, joint ventures and affiliates that already have large lists of the people you want to communicate with. Who already has a lot of the people you’re after on their list?
