  1. Greg,

This is quite amazing! Great tool to give away knowledge, build traffic and collect data from prospects and customers.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Edson

  2. Always great content Greg. I’m going to follow this path to expand my reach to share my knowledge and experience as it is one my passions to help other reach wealth by stepping through fear & over-coming anxiety. This is another way to accelerate my authority status. Thanks again. See you on the inside of TAF.

  3. Hi Greg,
Thanks for sharing this great information. I’m in the process of creating information products now for my business mentoredlife.com I had heard of Camtasia before, but never Jing. I’m going to download it as soon as I finish this post. I already have a few ideas for some lessons I could create for a membership site, or program.

    Thanks again for the tips,
    Dan

  4. Thanks Greg, I can see myself doing this once I have the basic knowledge of some of the things you assume most of us have… like ‘powerpoint’ I could get it and then learn how to use it, then figure out the process to tie the 2 together.
This helps clear the fog a bit, its possible just not by me, not yet anyway.
    Joey knows what I mean…

  5. Thanks Greg. That was great! I’ve downloaded Jing and I’m working on my new products. I’ve already posted 3 free resources on my website but it’s just text … boring … so now I’m converting those to presentations. My next bottleneck will be how to include video as well as the powerpoint presentation … somewhat like what you do in your amazing videos.
    I’m excited!

  6. I’ve read lots of blogs that claim to be teaching us how to grow a business the way that the writer has, but they always seem to leave the “how” a mystery. Your post here is refreshingly direct and “how-to.”

Even though I’m pretty tech-savvy and not fearful at all, you definitely saved me hours of figuring out how to do this myself – researching the tools, etc.

Thank you for sharing what you know not just at the high level but also in the nitty-gritty.

  7. Great video Greg. I have been introduced to it before now, but haven’t taken the time to set something up. I am one of those who needs your next video to see how you are structuring for the presentation. Thanks

  8. Thank you Greg!

This is the first time for me actually posting a comment on any blog though I have read and watched materials over the years.

Your mentoring us is an awesome offer and huge appreciation goes to your way.

Using powerpoint with Jing does clik with me and in the future for things that I’m planning to do, I certainly am going to implement with it.

Much thanks and looking forward to your future posts,
    Soonja

  9. Thanks Greg! This was perfect timing for me. I’d noticed this software this afternoon (I’d watched a video this afternoon produced in Jing and was curious about it), but hadn’t yet done any research.

Now that I know how simple it is to use I really don’t have any excuses. Looking forward to post #3 tomorrow to help organize my thoughts and get started.

    Thanks!

  10. Just simply directing me to the software has given me a push. I used a similar process and software for my final assignment for my degree. I got an A for that so I know I can do it. Keep them coming structure as you say is my next block. So can’t wait!

  11. Thank you for the insight Greg, you have provided light to many of us looking for alternate income streams. Be Blessed!

  12. Thank you, Greg, for sharing your knowledge. You are a very good teacher.I am looking forward to your next video.Wishing you the very best in 2011. Irena.

  13. wow, that’s cool. I’m interested in how to create revenue for this without a mailing list already … ie marketing. Amazing how simple that is.

  14. Hi there Greg.. Your video was awesome and so easy to use if you have knowledge of powerpoint and even if you don’t it is quite easy to use anyway and make our own slide show.. Thanks for showing me something so simple, looking forward to No.3 🙂 Keep up the great work of sharing your knowledge and empowering others!

  15. EXCELLENT content, Greg. And immediately usable. Can’t wait for the next
video and how I can get further involved. Thanks so much again!

  16. This is the first time I post something. It looks so easy to do it.

Techonolgy frightens me…but I hope not anymore.

    María (from Mexico)

  17. Greg,

Keeping on making videos. You’re a born teacher and mentor.I been around a lot of teachers but no one can bring it home like you.

  18. Oh yeah, I’m enjoying these videos. 🙂 This is great basic stuff delivered succinctly and effectively. Just enough to feed and sustain my enthusiasm for doing inet marketing. Greg, one thing I’ve appreciated is your realistic delivery: the right amount of positive emotion without overhype.

  19. VEry good to know, will use it for future presentations, and the fact it costs nothing but a download of jing. That is great/ Thanks Greg

  20. Amazing! thanks so much for sharing. There is no reason for anyone, me included, not to create a simple video of information.
    Thank you, Thank you.
    Deirdre

  21. VERY interesting – thanks for showing me (and my husband…) how to quickly do something that I never thought I’d be able to do.

It will give me a quick ‘leg-up’ in my new business: I am a canine behavior modifier (meaning I train dogs – and people) how to behave.

Thanks again – we look forward to the next installment!.

Please make note of my new email address – which is; [email protected]

    1. Hi Deborah – if your email address has changed, you should subscribe using the new one, and the use the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email that is sent to your old address. That will ensure you get added using your new one.

  22. Thanks Greg, you made this so simple by sharing your knowledge and expertise. Love this format, and I am already going through my PPTs from past presentations and booking time in my schedule to create some videos. This is so inspiring!!!

    Melanie

  23. Greg,

As always, very informative, simple and practical. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge. I look forward to the Video #3.

  24. Hi Greg!
So very helpful, thank you! I will view it again. I did download Jing. I never knew about it before. Your information really is valuable and helpful. Thank you very much!

  25. Anyone who does not have PowerPoint or KeyNote should check out OpenOffice.org, which has an equivalent program called OpenOffice.org Impress. I used Impress and Camtasia to create several YouTube-hosted videos more than a year ago about the value of walking 10,000 steps a day. As Greg points out, you could use Jing instead.

    1. Great comment Kirk – and as I mention in the video, I use Camtasia for most of my videos because it’s a lot more flexible and powerful. Of course, there’s a cost to it as well but if you’re just starting out, then Jing is a great way to get started. And, using open source presentation programs like Impress is a great idea – so there really is NO excuse to not being able to get started, even if you don’t have Powerpoint or Keynote.

  26. Thank you for making these videos, Greg. I appreciate the generosity of your spirit, and I am looking forward to the next one!

    Blessings,
    Lynnet

  27. I Loved this tutorial. Now, Question, How do we know how much to charge for a product or service we wish to sell? Also, when I look around the net, I see lots of products like mine for free, So , who is going to pay money for this product or service , when they can get it in so many places for free?

    1. Ahh….. Steve, you’ve asked one of the most important questions — because it leads to a shift in mindset that you need to have before you can build this kind of business. “Who is going to pay money for this product when they can get it in so many places for free?” GREAT question. Here’s the thing — virtually ANY information you want is available for free on the net. You can get almost ANY information you want .. PROVIDED you’re willing to search, dig and filter for it long enough. There are entire ‘information marketing’ programs and articles that you can hunt for. But that’s the problem – the internet has SO much information, people are overwhelmed. They don’t WANT to spend all that time looking. And, they don’t know WHO to trust. So, if you can present the information in a convenient, concise package that gives them what they need, AND they trust you as a credible source, they’re willing to pay for it. And that’s why I think The Authority Formula is so powerful.. it’s all about showing someone how to quickly become an authority so that people are willing to trust and believe what they say, and that they’re the right source of the information. So while it might not make sense that pay are willing to pay for what’s out there for free, this is a billion dollar industry, which proves people are willing to pay for information. And in fact, because the information overwhelm is getting worse, what you can charge is actually RISING very quickly.

  28. Very interesting, Greg. So I can collect a list of FAQ’s from the store (or online through surveys), and create video presentations and post them on my website, blog, newsletter, Youtube, etc. Will be interesting to see what other options there are. Thanks again.

    James

  29. Hi Greg,

Great video, I will definitely take advantage of this information! Next I would like to learn how you do the live video’s. Wondering if there is a way to do it relatively inexpensive?
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Kim – yes, there are a lot of ways to shoot live video very inexpensively. A couple of ways are if you have an iPhone 4.. the video quality is shockingly good. You can also get an external mic adaptor that allows you to plug a mic in to get professional quality sound. If you’re not an iPhone 4 owner, then a great, cost-effective solution is the Kodak Zi8. It’s less than $200, and shoots high definition video at very high quality. It has an external mic on it so you can plug a mic into it that clips onto your shirt or jacket, which again gives you far better quality. I’m likely going to show a couple of quick examples in an upcoming video. So the point is, you can have professional looking live video capability for about $200, and then there are pieces of software that will allow you to edit for free as well.

      1. Hi Greg,

Thanks for the great video…makes it very simple. Another “affordable” video camera solution is The Flip, which is very easy to use. In addition, we just bought a Mac and the IMovie software makes “movie-making” quite easy as well.

        1. The Flip is a great camera solution too that’s cheap, but they made a killer mistake – designing it without an external mic jack. That’s a killer. The AUDIO is actually more important than the video quality — and you can get really good quality audio with a $20 external mic and a cheap camera.. but no matter how good the video looks, if it sounds really bad, people won’t watch it.

  30. Hi Greg, I’m sure you already know I’m a huge fan of yours and this video post confirms it again. Thanks so much for this tutorial – it really is simple and I look forward to Video #3.

  31. Thanks Greg. That was great. You’re right, there’s no excuse now! 🙂

Looking forward to the next video on structure. Could you please mention in that video whether you use a script or speak off the cuff? I have found that a script sounds canned but off the cuff is too waffly. How do you do yours?

    1. Hi Adele – in these videos, I’m just speaking off the cuff. I don’t have any script or bullet points. I usually try to avoid scripts when it’s content I know well and I’m just trying to have a conversation. I have used scripts and bullet point lists before, but usually only when I’m doing longer videos where I need to make sure I’m going to stay on track and not forget what I need to say. I totally agree, you want to be as natural as possible. But even when you do use a script, it can seem pretty natural – it’s all a matter of practice. If you watch Eben’s videos about money that I’ve emailed about recently, he’s reading word for word from a script, but it’s not obvious because Eben’s gotten really good and using a script but remaining pretty natural in the delivery.

  32. Greg, timely info as I was about to purchase a software package that would help me create these…you just saved me some serious coin! Many thanks!

  33. Dear Greg sir,
Thank you very much.Fantastic and most vital information you have shared for all of us.

    Regards,
    Rash.

  34. Greg, this is soooo helpful. THANK YOU!
These are the kinds of tips that really help us manifest what we’re trying to do.
I would really like to know how to practically turn this type of presentation into a paid presentation – the actual set of payment and then watching the presentation.

    In gratitude,
    anne marie

    1. Hi Annemarie — I’ll talk about of the practical elements like payment, etc., in the next video. It’s actually pretty straight forward once you know some of the resources to use.

  35. Hi Greg,

This was a down to earth and practical video on creating a product. There is really no excuse for me now not to convert my talents, experience or other valuable information i have that may be of help to others into information product. Just doing some crazy designs in my room of recent using cheap and unique concepts, maybe this will be my first info product showing people how to do something similar as well. Thank you very much. You’ve added so much value to my life and others’ through your training videos. God Bless You Greg!

  36. Perfect timing, Greg. You provided this information to me exactly when I needed it. I’ve gotten a couple of “nibbles” from potential publishers and wanted to create great video content from my book to go on my blog, but didn’t know how…until today. Can’t wait for the third video!

  37. Greg,
    YES….This IS easy.
Your passion, drive and clear presentation has (re)opened my path.
    I AM ready for #3.
    Andrea

  38. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Greg!

In this short video you have de-mystified the process of creating a training video. Priceless information.

  39. Greg.thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I think you have just saved me an enormous amount of energy and head banging.
    Your videos are wonderful.

  40. Thanks Greg for a very informative tutorial on product/video creation. It has given me the confidence to move to the next step with my project. Looking forward to Video #3.

  41. Hi Greg, Thanks, this was important information, simple and easy to understand. I downloaded the software and will use it.
I want to create a training video with me in it, and don’t have a built in camera and mic on my computer. Can you advise what the most important requirements from a video camera?

    1. Hi John – that’s kind of a funny analogy really .. most of us have all the tools we need to succeed in front of us, yet if you don’t know what to look for, you don’t realize what you have! Thanks for the comment.

  42. That was so much fun! Thanks Greg…Am i wrong or that free version of Jing only gives you 5 minutes presentation? You must be using the Pro version.

      1. I meant in your training sessions (Trusted Authority) because the free version of Jing will only give you 5 minute videos(unless I am doing something wrong)

  43. Hi Greg, Nice video and very clear.
Now we have not excuses anymore.
I have no problems working with power point , so I will try adding jiing to my presetnations.

    In fact I have just a question to make to you and to other who is reading my post;
Do you think doing my videos in English should bring more interested?
    Should be more practical?
I speak english, but I though also doing my videos in other languages I speak.
What are your feeling about it?

    Best regards,
    Paola

      1. Yes, I can undersatand that. I²m writting you from France.

        I have two more questions:
Do you believe Europe follows this system as in America?
Do you have a good return from european people for your messages and videos?

        Thank you again

        1. Hi Paola – yes, we have a lot of Europeans who are on our list and say that this material is as effective there as anywhere else.

Ultimately it comes down to getting really clear on what your prospects are looking for .. building it .. and then letting them know you have it with language that resonates and attracts their interest and trust!

  44. Thanks for this, very useful. I did not know Jing existed and often wondered how these things were done. I going to look further into this. I suppose you could make subliminal Mind Movie this way.

    Thanks again,

  45. Hi Greg,
Thank you for sharing !!This is very helpful for somebody that wants to start the teleseminar videos/products and had no clue “how”.I’m one of them and I feel confident to start mine now.
One question,I don’t know if you will cover it, it might be:
How do you attract more people on your Blog? so you can covert them into your presentations.
Thanks so much for adding values!
    Soul

    1. Hi Soul — I don’t have the time to get into the entire process of creating traffic to your blog, but that’s definitely something that I’ll be covering in the future. I’m going to create a program that not only shows everything involved in creating products, but also then how to market and monetize that product — including selling it through your site and building a large following. So stay tuned for that.

  46. Greg, thank you! This was wonderful, down to earth and very encouraging. Also very timely, as a friend just called this morning to ask about ppt and making presentations for a new job. Will be sharing your info with her. Thank you again.

  47. Hello Mr. Habstritt,

    You are simply the best.
I am grateful for having the opportunity to watch your videos.
They contain quality information that is clear and consise.
I am a school teacher and I am looking to develop my Entrepreneurial Spirit. I have been making videos for 2 years but I never have taken any actions towards creating an income. How can I develop an Entrepreneurial Spirit to increase my income and get out of debt?
Once again thank you for all your contributions, I truly appreciate it.

    Regards,

    Michael

    1. Hi Michael – thank you so much for the kind words, and I’m glad my stuff is helping! To answer your question, I’m going to releasing a couple more videos that will talk about how to identify the topics that you can sell, and I’ll also go through some of the key elements of setting yourself up to market and sell your knowledge. So stay tuned!

  48. Great video….many thoughts and ideas are already surfacing….but alas, that’s the problem. TOO many ideas on various info products that I can produce!! Looking forward to video 3!!

  49. What kind of lavalier microphone are you using? Ambient noise sets professionals apart from amateurs. To charge for product, I feel that high production value is owed to the client.

That said, I know I’ve been holding back because I was a film school grad who couldn’t work with 35mm film. Today’s tech advancements are equalizers, we no longer have any excuses for not creating great information product. Thank you for the inspiration!

    1. Hi Rebecca — you’re right, audio has a BIGGER impact on the quality of the video that the video quality itself. In this video I’m using a Sennheiser wireless which is pretty high end, but a GREAT mic to use is the Audio Technica lav mic you can buy on Amazon for about $20. It has a 20 foot cord on it and is really good quality – that’s the cheapest and best solution, hands down.

  50. GREG,

Excellent video and simple to implement! I believe that I can produce an information product to start generating income within several weeks. ALL I need is taking my passion together with access to a mailing list of hungry buyers who want my product( I only have a list of 50 people in my mailing list) and this will get me to where I want to go. THANK YOU!!

    1. Hi Christopher – pay attention to the other material I’m going to share, as I’ll talk about how you can take a good product and create revenue even without having a list of your own.

  51. WOW– you have a 2nd job waiting as a voice over guy– I could listen to you all day! I am so excited to take my MacBook and Keynote and get going on this! I actually have several tapings of a local cable TV show I do called “Voice of the Valley” (in Silicon Valley, CA)– how could I upload those videos to my website resource page?

How wonderful that all the people can get all their unique expertise out there for each of us to learn and grow from! You are a gifted educator! Thank you, thank you!

  52. Great information here! Even if you don’t have PowerPoint, you can use the free version from OpenOffice.org to put the presentation together. I look forward to the rest of your presentations, Greg!

  53. Greg,

    Thank you so much!

I have so much I would like to share with others…now I have a tool that makes it so easy!

I am absolutely committed to go forward.

  54. Greg,
    That was awesome!!!!
I would say that was the mosst valued bit of information that I have come across in some time. Most of the other guys talk around the substance. To them its sucking the last dollar out of you. Not really trying to help you, only helping themselves. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to video #3.

  55. Hey Greg. I’m normally a bit reserved, however I’m sending you a big digital hug right now! I’m so excited. You’ve given me the key to a huge door of opportunity I’ve been trying to pick the lock to for some time now. Though very creative and considered by most highly intelligent, the whole world of internet marketing has left me overwhelmed. I want to spend my time and energy on what it is I want to share. Not on listening to and trying to apply every tutorial, etc. on all the technical aspects of web building and amplifying, social media, etc. I’m not at the point (yet) where I can hire someone else to do all that. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ll be eagerly looking for your emails! Gratefully, Dawn

  56. Wow! This is amazing. Thank you so much. I have created several awesome PowerPoint presentations, and I always wished I had a way to keep using them. Now, I do, thanks to your presentation. What a gift!

  57. I don’t have a business right now, but as I watched your video, ideas on how to create an income stream in the future doing things I loved popped into my brain. THANKS SO MUCH, GREGG!

  58. Great video Greg – sometimes we get too tied up in all the “gear” we think we might need to create these videos, which usually is just a retreat from the fear of doing something we haven’t done before… but it definitely gets easier after a couple of videos. Keep up the good work.

  59. Greg, You sure are takin’ your sweet time gettin’ the next video out! I’ve been fidgety for the last two weeks — would like to wrap up and put a bow on my Power Point marketing videos for my book. 🙂

  60. Hi Gregg,
I thought your information was great. I had wanted to know how to make a “How To” video and you make it seem so easy. Thanks ever so much!

    Karen

  61. Hi Greg, a bit late I just wanted to tell you that it was a great video and that you convinced me that I can do it! Thank you so much!! I will jump right to video nr 3 🙂
    // Mia

  62. Looks easy and I tried to sign up an account with Jing but it does not recognize my email address(s) as legit. I have tried several times to get thru in “Contacting them” but you just get a Q & A run around. Any suggestions?

    1. Irene,

That sounds frustrating. I personally use Jing and like it a lot. I hope you aren’t turned off by it by now…

Sometimes services like this just want a generic email address, not one that has your website name in it (example: [email protected]).

I would recommend you set up a free email address just for the videos you create with your Jing account. Like a gmail.com, live.com, hotmail.com, or yahoo.com account. Jing should have no problem letting you register with one of these.

      Hope this helps!

  63. Thanks Greg.

Being of the sort who tends to ‘overthink’ projects I am contemplating, it’s really empowering to witness direct action with immediately measurable results.

  64. Great stuff. it’s really helping me to travel down a new path. I’m learniing some great stuff about podcasting & SEO. I’ve just returned from a 3 day event in Las Vegas with Bob McNulty. He’s launching his 3rd billion dollar company called KachingKaching a multiple tier eStore.
I’m often in remote locations & like right now, Im working on my iPad. Unfortunately Flash & Apple don’t jive, therefore I can’t view this video. Video #3 worked great, so I think you may have tackled this problem moving forward.
    Thanks for the great stuff!

  65. Excellent educational piece. How simple and cost effective “posting” yourself /your knowledge can be.

Your next educational piece should be: how do to a video recording [and post it] of MYSELF explaining some knowledge — just like you did in showing us in blog 131.

    Joel

  66. Greg, thank you for this great information!!! This is exactly what I needed to know how!!! Thank you! I just download Jing and excited to attempt to make my 1st video testing out of it! Once again, thank you for blessing us with your materials.

  67. YOu took away my excuse . I hate you Greg. Hehe . I am going to create my info product now 🙂 . Always imagined to be so difficult so i never did it .Thanks for showing how simple it is

  68. Hi Greg, last days I was busy searching for instructions about how to create a free video right from the screen, and here I’ve found it! Thank you very much! Your explanation is excellent and more than just clear!

  69. Great! Now I can give my patient grandson a break (he’s the family computer whizz.) But I don’t have Powerpoint installed on my computer and wonder if anyone has advice re price, etc?? Jing is just what I have been craving!

  70. Fantastic info and straightforward presentation. Fear of the unknown is one of the largest hinderances for people to move forward. You just staughter fear! I look forward to seeing the next video. Hopefull you will cover how to make a Video presntation mixed with “text slides” like you have it your other presentations.

Question: I need to prucahe a new laptop soon. Should I go with MAC or PC and should I buy one with an installed camera for recording video blogs etc?

    Bets Regards

    Aaron

  71. This was wonderful! Who knew it could be so easy!!! I’m an ancient madly swimming through the sea of technology. This was incredibly useful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can learn so I believe I can do this. How stunning is that?? You’re much appreciated.

  72. Gregg! You the bomb!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is fabulous. I am so appreciative for all the FREE and helpful information you give.

  73. This was great information. I had heard it was easy but, seeing you do it right before my eyes made me a believer 😉 Fantastic! I really do appreciate your contribution to me as a budding entrepreneur.
    Alexandra

  74. Greg, I’m new to the internet information, marketing and product business…your video was a great introduction and has opened my mind and interest in growing my skills. As Jim Rhon says, one of the greatest tools we all have available to us is O.P.E. (other peoples experience) It’s great to stand on the shoulders of others that have gone before you….Thanks very much, you’re a pro and I really appreciate your ‘truth’ based delivery…Lloyd

  75. Thanks Greg, very interesting, fast, easy information. I am a Polarity practitioner & NOT so many people know about this amazing modality. I was/ am looking for ways to introduce this practice to many more people beside my business cards or brochures.
Please create more videos & I personally appreciate you & your generosity, talent, & care.

  76. A good technique, however in the European market selling high value consulting services to CEOs may come across as cheap and very much like an info commercial. What your recommend or how should one approach this type of market place.?

  77. Thanks so much for caring about all of us! I learned a lot from this
how-to about making a video, and the price is right! Will keep
watching all of your work. It’s not lost on me! Thanks again,
    San

  78. I will install Jing and try it out. Your instructions were very precise and easy to understand and follow. I am not technically inclined but you have inspired me to try it.
    Thank you.

  79. Greg,

Thank You! Your video is clear and easy to understand . . . am so appreciative of your help.

Hopefully, we’ll learn how to embed one of these videos on a website or blog,(You-Tube, too, if that’s required???!) in the next video. It’s probably one of those things that’s so easy for you, you can’t imagine there are people like me who don’t have a clue (technically challenged, yet strangely fascinated – possibly even addicted) to learning info marketing and all the other opportunities the Internet provides.

My next gap in knowledge (after I follow your instructions to make videos) is how to embed an audio that visitors can click on to listen to. Amazingly, and hard for me to believe, I just now realized that when I become competent in these two skills that have been causing so much anxiety — I’ll be completely equipped to move onward and forward. WOW! Almost there . . . and it’s only taken (I can’t bring myself to admit how many) years and dollars to learn.

All of this will equip me to help the small businesses in my area with their online marketing, as well as carry out plans for informational websites!

I watched the video before this, too, and saw myself in it and in the comments left by other viewers . . . my moods seem to change back and forth from “I have a service that will add value, and I’m SO excited to get started”, to “Who am I, anyway, and who’s going to want to listen to me”?, and “Everyone probably already knows all the things I’ve learned, and will likely be bored with my presentation and unlikely to want to pay for my services.” Well, I’ve invested too much now, there’s simply no turning back!

Yikes! Sometimes it’s a disheartening to learn you’re “normal”, after all.

    Thanks again.

  80. I am very thankful about your way how to create a high quality video. It really boost my confidence on how i could make a good quality video presentation. with the lesson that I have learn from you.
You can count that one day I have to meet you personally for what a wonderful vision that you have shared to everybody for free.
More power to your mission. Thank you very much.

  81. Bonjour Greg !
Great video but I was also expecting that you show how to include Powerpoint slide into the video with you : you are on the left and the slide appears on the right to illustrate your speech.
I was also expecting that you show what kind of camera you use to film yourself.
And why you use Jing and not Camtasia for this demo.
Anyway thanks a lot for sharing your tips !

    1. My goal was to show a simple way to create video and not make it a 2 hour video. There are a million details I could offer but the goal was a simple, quick solution for people to get into action. From the comments I think that was accomplished.

  82. WOW Greg, I just want to say thank you for taking the the time. This is information that i need and will try to put into action…as you have said, “no more excuses”. Thank you again!!

  83. Hi Greg, you made this seem so simple that I now feel bad that I had not experimented with this long ago. Thanks for the good work.

  84. Dear Greg,

Wonderful, exciting and very useful information. I din’t know it could be this easy.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, skills and advice with the rest of us. You are a very genuine and giving person and I think you are creating very good karma for yourself by being so giving.
You are helping and contributing to so many people.
    Keep up the good work.
    kind regards,
    Marion.

  85. After watching your “create a video” presentation I now have the know how and confidence to create my first video. You are an excellent teacher! Thank you for helping the “newbies.”

  86. I Love you, I Love You, I Love You I do…

I just asked myself the other day…”How do I create a slide show video?”…Thank You Greg. I already had jing, but did not know how to use it…

  87. Great stuff.I had a situation today that was a little costly.I decided to turn it into a positive and help others avoid making the same mistake.
I think it will be a report and a powerpoint.I feel confident after seeing this to move forward.

  88. Thank you Greg! This instructional video on – how to make videos – is so valuable. I really respect your efforts and sincerity of your contribution.

  89. Greg, out of all the people I’ve listened to on product creation, you are the one I trust most. I need someone to make the HOW easy for me. I’ve got billions of product ideas, but I need help on the actual techno mechanics of making it happen. ex. Record on this software,..step by step,…then how to sell it with my list…that’s where I’m getting stuck.
My favorite product to develop: ‘HELP! I’M TURNING INTO MY MOTHER AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT!”
“DROP 15 YEARS OFF YOUR APPEARANCE & STOP TURNING INTO YOUR MOTHER!” or something like that..I’m open to suggestions!

  90. Congratulations Greg! Your presentation, Video 1, has been much appreciated. By the way it opened new ideas for me at a moment where I am working on a e-Learning program for family businesses. I am a former CEO for European companies. I am retired and willing to share my experience and knowledge with Entrepreneurs.
I am looking forward at watching video 3. Thanks!
    Carlos Dias

  91. Thank you so much. This is so helpful! I’ve been a long-time user of SnagIt (also by TechSmith) and have been stalling on getting up to speed with Camtasia because it looked like it had such a steep learning curve. I installed Jing before I even watched the rest of this video and was able to easily create my first video. Wow. Now that I know how to do this, my brain is buzzing with possibilities. Thanks again. Very clear, actionable stuff.

  92. Hi Greg just saw the video….and its a great resource…thanks so much for providing it…however, I could only see uptil 11min 12 secs….after that the video automatically stops….can u plzzz look into it and give me a link where I could watch the whole video as its a great learning tool ….I tried reloading the video a couple of times, but each time it stops at the same point….
    Thanks in advance

  93. Hi tried again and looks like its working now….sorry for the bother…thanks again for this video….wat about the videos after this? Have you come out with any and where can I find them?

  94. Wow, I never imaged that it was so simple to create a video! I already have some powerpoint presentation I can use. This will be a piece of cake! Thanks Greg!

  95. It is simple and interesting. I am dissuaded form looking at seemingly genuine people like you because of experience of receiving free advice to be earnestly followed by a series of nagging nuisance mails offering various other price marked products. However, Thank you. Jing isn’t a jinx.It is so good.

  96. It is simple and interesting. I am dissuaded form looking at seemingly genuine people like you because of experience of receiving free advice to be earnestly followed by a series of nagging nuisance mails offering various other price marked products. However, Thank you. Jing isn’t a jinx.It is so good.

  97. I don’t have a business of my own, but I can sure use this at work. Thank you for sharing. You are one of my favorite educators. You keep it quick and simple. Keep up the great work!

  98. Thank you Greg for sharing your procedure using power point and jing. It was very informative and simple. Best to you!

  99. Thank you again, I didn’t understand how to use jing to create power point videos,so now I can. Thanks again.

  100. Hi Greg, Just the tool I have been looking for. Clearly explained and modeled. I really appreciate that you have taken the time to share this. I look forward to the next one.

  101. Hi Greg, thanks for the excellent information you are producing. Can you put the video content behind a password so that only members have access and if so how would you do that and where would that content be stored if captured with Jing i.e. who hosts it?

  102. I’ve been watching your videos and reading your content since February of this year. I am so thankful you are doing all this and I can’t wait until I can afford to take one of your courses. You have given me hope that I can do this. I have a Master’s degree and am very accomplished, but I never seem to be able to get ahead and make what I know I can. You, however, have given me the tools and courage to move forward.

  103. Thanks Greg! Really easy once you take us behind the scenes! I found this extra useful, and I appreciate the time you took to record it and to show us how to use Jing.

  104. Greg- this is awesome! It removed a barrier for me because I was making it so hard and it is quite simple with the technology you used. You will continually be blessed because you are helping and showing others.

  105. Hi Greg, thank you for this very useful video. I never thought that recording a video was just as easy as that. Now I know.. Thank you..

  106. Gregg this is insane I have been overwhelmed with all the info out there thinkin I needed this and I need that to create these presantations these are all free and i am getting started right now!!! I can’t wait to learn more from ya this is awesome thank you for taking the time to show us without leading us to all kinds of sales pages and upsells and down sells well you get the pic. Keep up the good work

  107. Intresting. I am searching for ways to promote my product. This video will definately help me to move a step further closer to my dream. Next I am looking for ways to market my product

  108. Greg This video was bottom line great. The more i wonder around with you the more my admiration and trust grows. You are a bottom line guy and i know we will eventually meet and enjoy. Tom Stuehler Baltimore /Washington DC

  109. OMGoodness Greg – eezy-peezy – my kind of learning. Gone through half a year in a panic about how to do it, trying to find people to show me how, and here it is, TA to the rescue! I love PP, got full marks for my presentations in college for them. Now I know how I can make video in simple to follow language. Finally. Thank you again.

  110. Dear Greg,
Thank you for the video. I have been wanting to create something like this, but thought it would be expensive and very difficult! I really get so much out of all of the information that you offer and I love it! You are making a huge difference in moving me forward in my business. I am very grateful to you. I can’t wait for video #3.

I also have a question about video #1. I tried to view it before watching #2, but it is not on the page any longer. Is there a way that I could still see it?

    Thank you,
    Tara

  111. Hi Greg, this is great! I appreciate the way you boil it down. In your video you’ve clearly got a web cam of some sort so that you can capture yourself speaking. This wasn’t really addressed but I’m presuming that a basic webcam would work here. Will the webcam work with Jing and Power point? How does a person combine a video of themselves speaking with the Power point slides?
    Thanks!
    Thomas H.

  112. Greg, I just signed up with you as I was impressed earlier with your speech in San Diego last week-end. I thoroughly enjoyed this video and it confirms that I made the right choice and…you impressed me even more. I am looking so forward learning much more from you. Hope you can see that I have rolled up my sleeves. Thanks, Roy V

  113. Greg. thanks for this educational video. you make it simple and easy! This was very helpful and I really appreciate it — John from Waterloo,ON

  114. How satisfying it is to find someone that cares enough to break things down and make it so easy to understand and follow. You truly are committed to serve and I intend to be the student in the front row attending every ‘class’ available. Thank You Greg

  115. Excellent Video Greg. Very clear. I am sure it will help many people. Keep up the great work.
Are you open to looking at NEW Joint Venture products?

  116. Dear Greg, Thanks for this powerful yet simple training video. This has really helped me I am ready to make professional videos starting now. I am extremely grateful. Would just like to know more about Camtasia you mentioned it and said you were using it but did not use it in the presentation

  117. Very helpful! I’v e been wanting to sdo this, but have been stuck because of “technology”. This eliminates that excuse so I can move forward. I did have problems viewing video 1. Thx!

  118. Thank you Greg, you did part the vail of complexity. I believe you have given me the resources to move forward, instead of being stagnant. I had no idea there was a site like jing that I definitely could use to my advantage.

  119. Hi Greg: Thanks for this, it really makes it easy to record. I’ve downloaded Jing and gonna do a test drive!

  120. Hi Greg,
Thank you so much for posting this brilliant video, I have been wanting to find out how to do these type of presentations for a while now and not only have you shown me, I understand how this can lead to creating products to sell to my list (when i get one!)
You seem to have the uncanny knack of reading my mind, which i guess is down to your talent and interest in helping people solve their biggest problems.
I had to laugh when you said ‘you have no excuse know’ as thats exactly how i fel! glad that i now know how to create pro looking presentations and info products but also slightly nervous that now I’ve GOT to do it as I have no excuse!
Your delivery and quality of content is second to none and I am very grateful for your instructions.
Looking forward to the next video and producing my first info product.

    Exciting times indeed!

    Love & Light

    Spence

  121. Thank you Greg! You just removed a mental blockage for me. Like you say, now I have NO excuses whatsoever. Most importantly, suddenly what used to be a fear for now appears exciting and FUN! Tack så mycket! (Swedish for Thanks a lot!)

  122. An excellent introduction to video making. You can’t make it simpler than that! Now it’s up to us to begin practicing. I love it!

  123. Oh Wow Thanks for this Gregg. This has been really helpful. I am one of those people who thought the only way to produce videos was to get a video camera etc. I have a powerpoint presentation that I will try converting to a video using this method.

  124. Hi, not able to watch the video , there is lot distrubance in this .can u plzzzz give me a link where i can watch this video as i read very good comments of this video

  125. Greg, you’re amazing, as usual – so natural and practical (i.e. result oriented), providing lots of value. You’re really good with doing it great with little resources/ for free, btw!
Indeed, as the guy below says, also to me the video stops abruptly at 16:06 or so, but I’ve got the point. Thanks a lot for the tip, I was actually looking for exactly this!

  126. Thanks Greg! This was great information, well presented and easy to understand. Who knew it was that easy! The video played all the way through without any problem, so I guess any issues have been resolved, however, I haven’t been able to see the first one.

    Thanks again!

  127. Hi Greg, I noticed you had Les Hewitt quoted on the right of this page. He has been a personal mentor to me and is quite amazing. They are doing a relaunch of the Power of Focus. He’s an amazing coach. All the best Greg. FYI-I could not find your comment back to me from my first post, yet it appears in the Google search. Could you resend?

    1. Hi Kirk, Les is a friend and a mentor to me – great guy, high integrity. One of the good guys in the industry. No idea how to go and find a comment, so can’t find the comment you’re referring to – sorry!

  128. Greg, this was or course fine, but the next step is the hard one… embedding it in a page. The default jing player looks crappy, so I want something nicer, but Jing doesn’t enable that.I’d like the video to start automatically, but Jing doesn’t support that. I could put it on YouTube and use that player, but I don’t want it on youTube. So there’s a bit of a hurdle for me.

  129. Greg, this was a great video, thank you! I have so much content that I need to get out and into the hands of Christians and this is a great tool to do so. I knew about Jing, but seeing the tutorial was wonderful. I also loved seeing how you used the tutorial inside of a larger video. Good stuff! – Ericka D. Jackson

  130. Thank’s a lot Greg! So wonderful to have you show how simple it can be!! I have had the exact worries you are talking about on how to be able to make these kind of presentations. Just perfect!

  131. Greg, Thank you for this sofware and your tutorial on how to use it to create information product. I do have a question about its usage. I was doing the same thing you were doing on my computer and noticed that the sound quality was very bad and very low. Any idea what that could be?

  132. Super useful for the .pps based videos! Thanks again.
Though what about the videos when the speaker needs to show up? Like the intro and the end of this video of yours – what did you use for it? To be honest, it does feel like an expensive cam and a green panel background – I hope not, but is it the case?
I’m asking since Christmas is close and need to put the wish list together 🙂 Thanks in advance!

  133. Greg thank you for the instructions and how to information. The demonstration was really helpful. Thanks for sharing!

  134. YES!!!! Thank you Greg. I feel a surge of confidence growing within, as I watch and listen.
I´m a retired scuba instructor moving into the Coaching business and I´ve been struggling to grow my client´s base. This video and the Trusted Authority concept is so powerful that I´ve been having recurrent dreams about it…. This whole thing about simplicity, trust and results is so powerful, that my efforts will be focused precisely on creating an authority website immediately.
I´ll be in touch soon…. Thank you, thankyou.

  135. Hi Greg,
great info. I am looking for ways to put videos on the web and including footage of myself demonstrating different exercises – not sure quite how to do that yet but your series is useful in helping me to identify what is essential in my business. Thank you

  136. I listened to this video & yes it is great… Still wondering how you captured yourself on the screen? Or when we would like a mixture of slides & yourself in between, just like it is on your video….

  137. Great video Greg! Thank you so much for this info!!! How do you incorporate yourself or a live person speaking throughout these videos? Or can you using jing? Thanks, Tami

    1. You would need to have a camera on which you can record the live components, and then be able to edit them on your computer. There is definitely more to doing live video shooting than screen capture, so that’s why I showed how to use Jing and do screen capture.

  138. Greg, you’re a good man. I never could figure out how people do this kind of “magic” on their web sites. Always baffled the heck out of me.

I’m a low-tech dude, but I know that somehow I’ve got to figure out a way to get up to speed in so many areas if I’m ever going to become a successful marketer. This is the first time I’ve ever visited your site. I’m glad I did. And yeah… I do have an info product in mind.

Do you have a product that teaches the ABC’s of how to shoot video and package it into a DVD product?

Greg, you seem very sincere and earnest in your desire to help people. I hope to be able to do business with you sometime soon. Thanks again for the terrific content.

    1. Hi Chris – a guy that specializes in creating video content is Gideon Shalwick, a great marketer and a nice guy. Google him and check out what he has, including a ton of free content on his website!

      1. Greg, you’re a good man. You remind me of Kris Kringle in Miracle On 34th Street when he told a kid he could find the toy he was looking for at a competitor’s store. Thanks for the info. I’ll check Gideon out, and I’ll be looking at your products in the future as well. Thanks again!

  139. Hi Greg,

Thanks for the video! I’m brand spankin’ new to this site (recommended by my husband), and am excited to learn how I can develop and grow my Interior Design business.

I obtained a degree in Interior Design a few years ago and started my own business, while raising my two children. I am looking to find a way to bring in a more steady stream of income as so far, it has proven to be either crazy-busy or a down-right drought.

I’m certainly not tech-savvy but think I could even pull off a video like this. Thanks so much, I look forward to more learning. :o)

  140. i just watched something i wanted 2 do for along time but did not know how thanks Greg,
    yusuf Kampala Uganda,East africa

  141. Your video is great! I can SEE how I can use your process to create something that keeps me in front of my audience at a fraction of what I thought I would have to spend. Moreover, I don’t actually NEED to have a team of people to help me produce. it.

I look forward to your next video and thanks for sharing your knowledge – I’m very appreciative of your commitment to help us budding entrepreneurs.

  142. Greg, This process is easier than using Windows Movie Maker. I struggled with it and will now use your process instead. Thanks.

  143. Hi Greg,
Thanks for the video! Great information. AND you hit the nail on the head with the next video on how to distill all this knowledge into simple bites for our audiences. You ROCK!

  144. Wow! Thanks Greg. I was just thinking two days ago how I could do this without having to invest alot of money up front. The other programs talked about getting a flip camera or equivalent, editing on your computer. . . . to high tech for me at the moment. I need something fast and easy! Question? How do I record myself with this method? Or is this just for Power Point presentation?

    1. Hi Brigitte – the video is working so perhaps trying clearing your cache and restarting your computer.. or try a different browser. We haven’t had any reports of problems with the video.

  145. OMG, your video was the most exciting thing that I have every seen, I had no idea that I could do this on my computer, I have a business that I could start to us this now with, thank you so very much for your help.
    Joyce La Pierre
    Napa, Ca.

  146. Thanks Greg. It really seems to be the simple things that get me stuck and you address this process on that level. So it works for me. I am inspired to learn whether I can import video into Keynote so I’ll look at the help menus for that. Thanks again.

  147. Thanks Greg, you do show us that it is very simple. Now just to get moving on it… Also, I tried to go back to view the 1st video as suggested, but the screen was blank, and I don’t see any link to video 3 either?

  148. Excellent Sir, really till i had seen this video i was thinking that it is not easy to prepare a video presentation but after seeing this it is very easy for everyone who are having little knowledge of computer. Once again thanks a lot for educating us. J.l.Patel

  149. Thanks very much Greg for video and tutorial . I appreciated that you presented it succinctly and direct. Jing seems like a great Free program . Thank you for sharing your information with me . I hope to learn how to navigate it soon .

  150. Hi Greg i am over 55yrs old all of this is new to me ,i thank you for the resource. i could not see the information but i heard everything you said. if you have another link that i can watch how you created the video please post it.

  151. I am so happy and grateful for this knowledge. I no longer fear online product creation. Thanks to you, I am on my way! I appreciate all that you do. Thank you!

  152. This is a great instruction on how to create a video for a total newbie who wants online or offline business presentation or just do that for fun:) Thanks Gregg! Looking forward to watch a video 3!

  153. You rock! Love your amazing content. I am sitting here reading blog after blog and learning! Thank you.

  154. Hi Greg thank you! I am a inventor and I really need the video information. It is so much
more that I need to learn about making video’s. How to add a picture, or a short movie.
But this video really did help now I have to play around with the software and learn more. Thanks!

  155. Thanks a lot for the training. I will start creating my real estate investing project presentation when I come home from work after midnight. I wish I can call sick right ht so I can start creating :(.

  156. Wow…Greg you have hit a Grand Slam with this video!!! I’m so excited about implementing this strategy to create more income. I appreciate you!

  157. Hi Greg, thanks for the info it was a bit hard to believe first up that you were real and as thoughtful as you are but I trust in your willing to help others just for the sake for just that and for our world, thanks, we need more people like your good self, great video and looking forward to the next.
    Regards
    Steve

  158. Awesome stuff! I never got around to learning Power Point (was on my to do list) but now I feel confident enough to use it. Thanks for putting this together.

  159. Well done, Greg. Keep it up! Wish you all that is best for you. Your sharing and serving is all about love… love… Divine Love that gives you the understanding of God. With Love… in God’s Care…

  160. Greg, thank you. I know so little about all this, but I feel it’s time for me now to change my approaches, my understanding of business and money, and my life in general. I can do that, and just with these two videos, you have helped me realize how much I could do right now with some ideas on my mind! Thank you so much for your effort. The videos are an invaluable resource to me. Can’t wait to see your other videos. My warmest regards,

    Katya
