Board of Directors meeting, which brought Keith Cunningham and most of my board to Banff for 2 days of intense brainstorming and business building. The day after our BOD meetings finished up, our 2 day MasterWealth Millionaire Mountain Retreat started, which was essentially a reunion for all of the previous MasterWealth graduates. Aside from being in such a spectacular setting, the retreat was very powerful because it allowed a lot of our graduates to come back and refocus. Keith was gracious enough to be the keynote speaker for the program, and Keith did most of the talking and teaching. The feedback was incredible from attendees, and it felt great to see so many people continuning on the path of learning and growth. A side benefit from having everyone here for both events was that I was able to spend a ton of time with some very inspiring people who have had a massive impact on my life. A few of my board members stuck around for the weekend, giving us a chance to hang out and relax together. Of course, business was a regular topic for us, primarily real estate.. because we all love to talk real estate. My team did an amazing job of pulling off such a great event, like they always do. For me, it was a great reminder of how important it is to stay in touch with those who are important to you. I get so busy with projects, properties and new ideas that sometimes I drift away and keep my head down too much. This was a great way to connect with a lot of important people to me, and enjoy some down-time in one of the most spectacular locations in the entire world. I’m truly looking forward to the second annual retreat which we’re already starting to sketch out for 2008. For all of those who were at the retreat, thank you for making it so powerful, and such a positive experience!
