Tick, Tock .. Tick, Tock ..

Raylene usually is. We’re now 2 days overdue, going into day 3.  The anticipation is killing me .. but he seems quite happy where he is.  He’s moving around a lot, but no outward signs that a birth is imminent. It’s given me a little extra time to get work done before I take off and enjoy the new dad experience, but I sure hope he comes along soon! The timing for a new baby couldn’t be better.  The weather is just starting to warm up, and the spring is a beautiful time in the Rocky Mountains, so we’re intending to spend a lot of time at our place in Canmore with Cooper once he arrives and settles into his new family. I’m finding myself, many times every day, feeling tremendous gratitude for everything that’s brought me to where I am in my life now.  My amazing team at the office, my incredible clients and students, our family, friends, and everyone who has been in touch to see if Cooper’s arrived yet. It’s a little nerve-wracking going through the day, expecting the cell phone to go off at any moment and hear those words that every soon-to-be-Dad waits to hear exclaimed . . . “It’s Time!” Hopefully I hear those words shortly!]]>
